It can be done easily, so keep reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fertilizer and Chemicals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do your best to avoid pesticides and non-natural fertilizers. If you don&#8217;t want to harm wildlife and yourself, consider other options. Many pesticides are considered or suspected carcinogenic. And while they may kill unwanted insects, they will also kill beneficial insects, like bees. When it rains, these harmful chemicals will also spread to lakes, rivers, and water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember it is possible to over-fertilize! Do not spread nitrate, potassium, phosphorus, and other nutrients mindlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, start a compost pile in the backend of your garden. Compost piles can be made of pretty much all organic material, however, to start a good compost pile you need to consider its composition.
